On April 4 we will sing our Alleluias and raise our voices in praise of what Christ has done, because the tomb will be empty and the darkness of death will be washed away. I pray that you will be able to join us on Facebook or YouTube live at 9:30am as we celebrate and worship together. Then at 10:30 drive up to church for a special communion, Easter baskets for kids and youth, and an opportunity to take a picture with our flowered cross.
April will continue in celebration as we have our annual “Holy Humor Sunday” on April 11 and a three-week sermon series on “Creation Care” to round out the month, including a blessing of the animals on April 25.
We are creeping ever so much closer to being able to be back together. We are just waiting to ensure that the reopening of schools, restaurants, sports and other areas of life do not create spikes in our area. Without case numbers rising we will hopefully be back in some form this summer. Continue to be safe, make good choices, and do your part to prevent new cases for we are all in this together and together we can defeat this virus and find our new normal.
