Living on A Promise – 9:15
Living by God’s promises is to live by faith.
All Things New – 9:15
Take off the old human nature with its practices and put on the new nature, which is renewed in knowledge by conforming to the image of the one who created it (Colossians 3:9b-10, CEB).
Knocking on Doors – 9:15
Praying can be compared to the image of knocking on a door. It’s a disruption. It requires persistence.
Choosing the Better Part – 9:15
Jesus is teaching us that a posture that is attentive, listening, discerning and focused is the better part. Be still and listen to God.
