Joys and Concerns, Pastoral Prayer, Lord’s Prayer
Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come, thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. For thine is the kingdom, the power, and glory forever. Amen.
For those who are called and able, gifts and tithes can still be made through online giving, by mailing them in, and by dropping them off to the office through the secure mail slot to the left of the double door entry to the church hallway.

Offertory Prayer
God of abundance, as we bring gifts to your altar, we confess that we have wallowed in scarcity thinking. We worry that we might not have enough – not just in our own lives but also as part of your church eternal. Our scarcity thinking has sentenced us to think small in what we can do and moved us to believe in the dark corners of our consciousness that you are somehow limited. Forgive us when we have been afraid to believe that you have enough to meet every need the world had in the past, has now and will have in the future. As witnesses of Christ’s abundant love, we pray. Amen.
(John 6:5-23)
Scripture Readings — Philippians 4:4-7 (NRSV)
4 Rejoice in the Lord always; again I will say, Rejoice. 5 Let your gentleness be known to everyone. The Lord is near. 6 Do not worry about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. 7 And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.
The Word of the Lord:
Thanks be to God.
