Dear Friends,
Spring is in the air, Easter has happened with all its glory, wonderment, and decorated eggs, and we begin to look toward the next season of the church. We look toward new worship themes and Bible studies, confirmation and baptism celebrations, Pentecost, choir concerts, and summer activities. Truly, the church does not slow down once Christ has risen.
I pray that you find Easter not as on end point, but as a beginning point to something new in your spiritual life. I pray that this is a season that draws us closer together as a church family with new fellowship opportunities, “family” celebrations, and a greater presence of Christ’s love among us.
Join us on Earth Sunday, April 19, for a picnic in El Prado Park after the 9:15am service. Bring your own picnic and supplies, including a blanket to sit on, for a fun church family time of eating and enjoying God’s creation.
