Thank you to all those that have supported our church’s CAMPERSHIP FUND in the past. Your efforts and donations have made an impact for Christ in the lives of countless children, youth, and their families. It is never too soon to think about and plan for our strategy to support the CAMPERSHIP FUND in the year 2010. You will be happy to know that you can do so WITHOUT COOKING! That’s right! If you eat at the Chili’s Restaurant on Hawthorne in Torrance on Wednesday, December 16, 10% of the cost of your meal will be sent by Chili’s to the CAMPERSHIP FUND at Torrance First UMC. Print the flier below or pick up a flier at church this weekend — take it with you to the Chili’s on Hawthorne Blvd in Torrance — eat anytime between 11am and 11pm on Wednesday, December 16, 2009 — present the flier to your waiter or waitress — and 10% of the money you spend will be donated to the CAMPERSHIP FUND. Also, feel free to give a copy of this flier to anyone you know who may want to eat out and support our church. Grab your friends, load the family in the car, take the flier, and give your kitchen the night off from cooking!
